Dragon*Con Day One
September 1st, 2011 by admin received Comments OffOkay, it’s Thursday, the day before the official launch of Dragon Con. The hotels are filling up and the streets are filling up as the city of Atlanta receives an influx of geeks, nerds, gamers, artists, comic book enthusiast. So if the planet suddenly tilts a few degrees to far on its axis you know why. Registration did not go as planned. It started off great, lots of people in front of us got through in under 40 minutes. For us, half way to the registration counter the printers suffered an apocalyptical meltdown, resulting in, what else…a delay. It only took an hour, but after getting through HALF THE LINE in less than ten minutes we were forced to wait…which was cruel in a way, like a really bad strip tease.
But, we are here, resting up, and getting ready for 4 days of non stop adventure, fun, and general mayhem!
